A story of vocation, presence and human transformation
For as long as I can remember, I have been driven by the desire to care for, understand and accompany. But there was a pivotal moment in my life, in 1997, when I realized that to truly care, you must first dare to choose yourself. I ended a relationship that was extinguishing me and, without fully planning it, began studying Psychology. It wasn’t a rational decision: it was a deep intuition. Something inside me clearly said: ‘This is the way.’
Studying Psychology was the first step on a journey that still continues: learning to accompany others… and myself. When I finished my degree, I discovered an uncomfortable truth: I had knowledge, but I lacked real tools to look a person in the eye and hold their story.
Back then, the psychologist I was seeing (Isabel) was a key figure. Thanks to her I arrived at the Mensalus Institute where they taught me real psychotherapeutic skills: how to listen, how to be present, how to sustain the therapeutic process without losing yourself in it. That was my turning point.
I remember my first session with a client as if it were today: the nerves, the responsibility, the inner voice saying ‘do it well’. And over time I understood that true accompaniment does not come from perfection, but from presence. From looking at the other without fear, without hurry and with humanity.
For years I worked as a clinical psychologist, first in my office in Palafolls and later at the Eva Almirón Psychology Institute, which I founded in 2019. I have helped hundreds of people overcome pain, reconnect with their value and regain their balance. My approach has always been clear: unite science, empathy and the human dimension.
I trained rigorously: Master in Behavior Therapy, Master in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, advanced training in REBT and EMDR, specializing in trauma, attachment and dissociation. These trainings gave me structure and a deep understanding of the mind.
In 2022, after a romantic breakup, I understood something essential: to accompany others, I had to know myself better. I realized I lacked self-knowledge, and decided to live that process from within. I completed the International Master in Business & Life Coaching (2022–2023), the Master in Emotional Intelligence and NLP (2023–2024) and the Postgraduate in Neurocommunication and Public Speaking (2025).
It may seem that some of these programs have little to do with clinical psychology… but they were fundamental. Life Coaching helped me uncover my values and my ‘whys’. Emotional Intelligence taught me to know and manage my own emotional world —I, who had been very rational— and the Public Speaking master allowed me to communicate from connection. They were deeply transformative experiences: I learned to lead with empathy, communicate with authenticity and unite the professional with the human.
Over time, I integrated all these learnings, and understood that the moment had come to create something new.
