A story of vocation, presence and human transformation

For as long as I can remember, I have been driven by the desire to care for, understand and accompany. But there was a pivotal moment in my life, in 1997, when I realized that to truly care, you must first dare to choose yourself. I ended a relationship that was extinguishing me and, without fully planning it, began studying Psychology. It wasn’t a rational decision: it was a deep intuition. Something inside me clearly said: ‘This is the way.’

Studying Psychology was the first step on a journey that still continues: learning to accompany others… and myself. When I finished my degree, I discovered an uncomfortable truth: I had knowledge, but I lacked real tools to look a person in the eye and hold their story.

Back then, the psychologist I was seeing (Isabel) was a key figure. Thanks to her I arrived at the Mensalus Institute where they taught me real psychotherapeutic skills: how to listen, how to be present, how to sustain the therapeutic process without losing yourself in it. That was my turning point.

I remember my first session with a client as if it were today: the nerves, the responsibility, the inner voice saying ‘do it well’. And over time I understood that true accompaniment does not come from perfection, but from presence. From looking at the other without fear, without hurry and with humanity.

For years I worked as a clinical psychologist, first in my office in Palafolls and later at the Eva Almirón Psychology Institute, which I founded in 2019. I have helped hundreds of people overcome pain, reconnect with their value and regain their balance. My approach has always been clear: unite science, empathy and the human dimension.

I trained rigorously: Master in Behavior Therapy, Master in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, advanced training in REBT and EMDR, specializing in trauma, attachment and dissociation. These trainings gave me structure and a deep understanding of the mind.

In 2022, after a romantic breakup, I understood something essential: to accompany others, I had to know myself better. I realized I lacked self-knowledge, and decided to live that process from within. I completed the International Master in Business & Life Coaching (2022–2023), the Master in Emotional Intelligence and NLP (2023–2024) and the Postgraduate in Neurocommunication and Public Speaking (2025).

It may seem that some of these programs have little to do with clinical psychology… but they were fundamental. Life Coaching helped me uncover my values and my ‘whys’. Emotional Intelligence taught me to know and manage my own emotional world —I, who had been very rational— and the Public Speaking master allowed me to communicate from connection. They were deeply transformative experiences: I learned to lead with empathy, communicate with authenticity and unite the professional with the human.

Over time, I integrated all these learnings, and understood that the moment had come to create something new.

The birth of the Master’s in Applied Psychotherapy and Professional Mentoring and the Ser Tú Program

From that integration arose two projects deeply aligned with my purpose: the Master in Applied Psychotherapy and Professional Mentoring, and the Ser Tú program: awareness, change and transformation.

The Master was born from a reality I have observed over the years: many psychologists finish their training with a lot of theory but without real practice. They leave full of knowledge but insecure; with vocation but without a support network. And I understood something very clear: you cannot accompany anyone to a place you have not reached yourself.

That is why I designed a living, human and deeply practical program, where psychologists learn to trust, sustain, intervene and accompany with confidence and authenticity. A space where technique and humanity meet, where theory turns into experience and where each student learns by doing, but also learns to be.

At the same time, I created Ser Tú, a program of self-knowledge and personal transformation. A three-phase experience: Awareness —discover which masks prevent you from being yourself—, Change —acquire the tools needed to transform them—, and Transformation —after the change, learn to maintain it with your essence and live with coherence and inner freedom. Both projects share the same root: accompanying real change from within.

My approach

I accompany from my values that define my way of working and teaching: empathy, respect, acceptance, confidentiality, authenticity, presence and humanity. My practice is based on an integrative model that unites thought, emotion, behavior and body, so that change is real, measurable and sustainable. It is not only about understanding what happens, but about feeling it, transforming it and living it with coherence.

Our values

Empathy:
To look without judgment, listen from the heart and understand the other’s experience in all its complexity. Empathy opens the door to change.

Respect:
We honor each person’s pace and story. To respect is to recognize dignity and autonomy in every therapeutic or educational decision.

Acceptance:
We accompany you as you are, today, without conditions. Unconditional acceptance is the foundation for the courage to transform.

Confidentiality:
Your process is sacred. We protect your privacy with ethical and legal rigor; trust is built in a safe space.

Our integrative model:

Thought, emotion, behavior and body. Deep change happens when we align what I think, what I feel, what I do and how my body embodies it. This model allows for a global intervention, uniting mind, emotion, behavior and body for a complete transformation.

Thought:

We identify beliefs and internal dialogues that sustain distress.

Emotion:

We learn to recognize, regulate and express what we feel. Behavior: we translate understanding into concrete habits. Body: we attend to somatic signals and physiological regulation.

I believe in a living, ethical and human psychology that transforms without losing empathy or objectivity. If you feel it’s your time to evolve and grow or to train to better accompany others, here you have a safe place to do it.
